Starting January 15, 2019, you will not need to use a verified phone number when calling new RealSelf inquiries that have unmasked contact information. If you continue to communicate with inquiries received prior to January 15, 2019 through the potential patient’s masked phone number, you will still be prompted to use your PIN only if you’re calling from an unverified phone number.
What are verified phone numbers?
To ensure only your authorized staff are following up with your RealSelf inquiries, we require verification of all authorized phone numbers in your Dashboard. When reaching out to RealSelf inquiries received prior to January 15, 2019 through the potential patient’s masked phone number and you are prompted for a PIN number, it is because you are calling from a number that is not yet authorized.
How do I add verified phone numbers?
To avoid needing to enter a personal identification number (PIN) when following up with an inquiry with a masked phone number, you can add verified numbers to your profile in your RealSelf Dashboard.
Doctor Profiles:
- Login to your RealSelf Doctor Dashboard here
- Select "Edit Profile"
- Under "Locations," find the "Verified Phone Numbers" section
- Add up to 8 verified phone numbers per location
Business Pages:
- Login to your RealSelf Business Page Dashboard here
- Select "Edit Profile"
- Under "Core Business Info," scroll to the "Contact Information" section
- Add up to 4 verified phone numbers
