What are Direct Messages?

Direct messages are one-on-one conversations with another RealSelf community member.

While direct messages are not shared publicly on RealSelf, they are still subject to the Code of Conduct and the Terms of Service. To further protect privacy, your email address is hidden when sending and receiving direct messages.

 If another community member sends you a direct message, you will receive an email notification (unless you have changed your site preferences to limit email correspondence). These messages are stored on RealSelf and can also be accessed through your inbox.
