Change Username

Your username identifies you on RealSelf -- it's listed next to all of your content, and it's how other community members know who they're talking to.

You chose a username when you first signed up for RealSelf, but you can change it at any time. Here's how:

1. Log in to RealSelf.com
2. Click on your username in the upper-right corner of the page
3. Click Profile
4. Click the Profile tab
5. Fill in the box labeled Username with your preferred username
6. Click Save at the bottom

Your username must be unique; otherwise, you'll receive an error message instructing you to choose a different name. It can be helpful to take a common name and add letters or numbers to the end to make it unique.

Your username is automatically updated on all of your past content too, so you'll see your new nickname listed next to your posts right away.
